We start things off letting you know what’s up on this week’s show. We also let you know about some upcoming episodes to be on the lookout for!
Then, we’re off to our featured interview with the Bourbon Bettys. We tape this episode at the New Orleans residence of Barbara Hirsch-Napolitano (one of the Bourbon Bettys) and Tracy Napolitano. They are the founders of the New Orleans Bourbon Festival.
Along with Barbara, we’re joined by Katie Garrett, founder and owner of the Old Hickory Whiskey Bar in Pensacola, Courtney Cantrell, who works alongside Katie at the bar, and the Bourbon Betty’s producer, Christi Atkinson.

It’s a rare time that the Betty’s are all able to be in one place to tape some shows, talk whiskey, and have some fun! We join in the proceedings and talk with them about their podcast, how they got into bourbon, and why they do the show. We discuss the importance of women in the world of bourbon and how that is core message of their podcast.
We sip on some fine expressions and even partake in a couple of their traditions when they record their episodes. The fun continues on our podcast-only segment, “Another Shot with NOLADrinks.” The Bourbon Bettys podcast can be found on the ABV Network.
