Another quintessential New Orleans cultural event is back – French Quarter Festival! After a two-year hiatus, FQF is back with its 39th incarnation! It is the largest showcase of Louisiana music anywhere and one of the largest free music festivals in the world. We’re happy to bring you our annual preview of this seminal fest!

We chat with three of the leadership team members of FQF – Emily Madero, executive director; Kenneth Spears, food and beverage director; and Morgan Valerie, communications and marketing director. We let you know all about this year’s festival from the music to the food and drink program to just how important this event is to our local economy and culture.

During our conversation we touch on the important role FQF plays in supporting the local music scene – employing hundreds of musicians and gig workers. We also let you know about the role our local hospitality industry plays in the event. We highlight some of the great acts performing that span a multitude of genres.

Of course, we let you know what you need to know to attend this year’s event. We even give you some pro-tips on how best to fest!

Cheers and Be Well, You All!
