Welcome to our second show! In the first hour, I welcome Paul Gustings, noted New Orleans bartender, from The Empire Bar located in the famous French Quarter restaurant, Broussard’s. We chat about Paul’s background, their beverage program (including his excellent punches), and more. We also cover the recent “NOLADrinks Featured Cocktail” video in which Paul demonstrates how he makes the iconic NOLA drink, the “Sazerac,” as well as a riff on the “Manhattan” called, “Autumn in New York.”  In the second hour, we chat with folks connected to the Pontchartrain Home Show. Why? Well, they have a “Taste of Louisiana” area that plays host to numerous beer, wine and spirits producers from around the state as part of the trade show. We welcome Lincoln Case of Pontchartrain Vineyards, Mac Cazedessus of Casa de Sue Winery, and Jerry d’Eramo of JAAS Productions, which puts on the show at the Pontchartrain Center twice a year.
