We chat with Jagermeister USA’s Ranh Nunez and Singani 63’s Katie Firestone. We learn about their backgrounds and journeys to becoming a local rep. To be sure, we taste and discuss some delicious stuff along the way!

We’re back at the Southern Food and Beverage Museum – home of Nitty Grits Podcasts – for another fun show! We learn about the role a local spirits brand ambassador or representative plays in the industry.

Our guests are Katie Firestone of Singani 63 and Ranh Nunez of Jägermeister USA. Both started working behind the bar and then for distributors. In those roles, they increased their knowledge of spirits and cocktails along with becoming familiar with the liquor industry.

We chat about their experiences going from bartending to repping. We also talk about their motivations to move to the “brand side” of the business.

Both Ranh and Katie bring along some terrific expressions for us to sample. We taste and discuss Singani 63 (a “cousin” to Pisco) and talk about this important spirit from Bolivia. Ranh turns us on to two fine Tequilas from Teremana and Jägermeister’s Cold Brew utilizing Arabica coffee and a touch of cacao.
